"The Equalizer" (2014)- Review

Denzel, have done it AGAIN! This movie exceeded my expectations! This movie was gory, explicit, crude, explosive, and flawlessly directed, written, and sensational! The actors were fantastic! The movie started off a tad slow, but then when Denzel had the opportunity to do this thing- he did it and to the max. You would have never assumed from how the movie started he was the type of person that he was the entire film. The concept that I loved the most about the film was how precise Denzel was, how he was focused on time, & how he zoomed and zeroed in on HOW he was going to kill and the THINGS he was going to kill with in his given surroundings. The manner in which he killed all the people who did his close friends wrong was shown on screen and it was brutal, but very quick. The film ended the way it was supposed to, also. He never divulged who he was or what he use to do, the bad guys never could predict or prepare for him because he was always one step ahead of them.…

"The Maze Runner" (2014)- Review

I was really amazed at how much I enjoyed the movie, since it is based off of a book. I know that there will be a second film and possibly a third & many more! To say that this movie had a bunch of kids in it that I had never even heard of besides Will Poulter (the boy who could not kiss in WE'RE THE MILLERS). I thought the film was a bit like Divergent  because they were up against something no one thought could be defeated. They had to devise a plan and work like a team! I was into the movie. I really had no intention of seeing this movie, but glad that I did. It was really good and I have not read the books. The evil in this movie was radioactive and when the kids and the runners attempted to face it, everyone in the theater was screaming and just saying "ewww." When the evils were killed and trapped inside the maze, the ooze and slime freaked everyone out- including me! There were some comments that were made from the actors that made us laugh in the theater and …

"No Good Deed" (2014)- Review

I thought that this movie was very good, the ONLY thing that I hated about it was the fact that Taraji's character was just plain dumb. What she did with the intruder and cold-blooded murderer was....there is just no words or one word to describe it! She let him into her home, introduced him to her kids, sat and talked with him, drank with him. There is NO good person on the face of the earth who would help out a perfect stranger this much and invite him or her into their home to just chill and always ask what they can do for them. In horror/suspense pictures, some of these things must happen because if the victims do the right thing all the time, movies like this would be 20-30 minutes long. Lol! Seriously! Taraji did do her damn thang- as only she can say and do! She fought to stay alive and she did not give in and she refused to be a victim even though she was putting hers and her kids lives at risk by testing the intruder at every single chance she got. The character of Terri …
