"A Cure For Wellness" → Has A Faint Pulse

Film Synopsis: An ambitious young executive (Dane DeHaan) is sent to retrieve his company's CEO from an idyllic, but mysterious "wellness center" @ a remote location in the Swiss Alps, but soon suspects that the spa's treatments are not quite what they seem.

This was definitely one creepy, sadistic, backwards, disgusting, gross, & twisted movie! All of these terms listed above that I have just described goes towards all of the events that took place in the sanitarium.

Some parts of the movie were predictable while the secret & mystery of the character of Hannah was quite difficult to catch; I did, in fact figure out only half of her mystery, but when the other half was revealed along with Dr. Volner's secret, I was blown away.

The movie was very good and was the right Rx as a movie but what they were giving to the patients at the hospital- not so much. I feel that the movie would have been better if there were some well-known actors in it. There was no big star in the movie at all except DeHaan.

In conclusion, the film was entertaining and it showed some gory imagery and the realism of the "wellness spa" was quite invigorating. The methods were the part that was gory and gross. Let's say drinking water may never be quite the same after watching the movie! Lol! The movie reminded me of psychological thriller movies. One in particular, "Shutter Island."
