"The Hitman's Bodyguard" → Such A Dynamite Explosive Duo!

Image
Film Synopsis: The world's top bodyguard (Ryan Reynolds) get a new client, a hit man (Samuel L. Jackson) who must testify at the International Court of Justice. They must put their differences aside & work together to make it to the trail on time!

Reynolds & Jackson really had explosive chemistry in the film. It was highly entertaining, but I did not laugh hysterically or overboard as I thought that I would.

When I saw the trailers and clips, I could not get enough, but when it came time for me to see the film, it was like I had been watching some completely different. I was more- confused at that than disappointed in the film.

I don't know what it is with comedy movies- when actors TRY hard to be funny; maybe it just isn't to me and when its a stupid funny when they are not even trying, that when I laugh hysterically, I think. Lol!

The opening sequence was killer! Loved it! The use of Jackson's most infamous word was used the entire 2 hours of the film. You mig…

"Annabelle: Creation" → An Insane Bee!

Image
Film Synopsis: Several years after the tragic death of their little girl, a doll-maker (Anthony LaPaglia) & his wife welcome a nun and girls from a shuttered orphanage into their home, soon becoming the target of the doll-maker's most possessed creation- Annabelle.

It is really great to see how all of the evils are making their own mark in the world based off The Conjuring's handy work.

At first, I din't know what to expect although horror films nowadays are not really that scary to me, but fact still remains no matter if a horror film is a bust or not- it is always the person whom is the weakest that is attacked by the evil!

In the Bible, it tells us that God did not give us fear, but strength & that is something I think deeply on in every horror film when the actor portraying the "weak person" claims they are weak or the person/object trying to help them see that they are strong just gives up and faces the reality that the dark spirit/demon 'aka'…

"Kidnap" → A Riveting Retrieval

Film Synopsis: A mother (Halle Berry) will stop at nothing to recover her kidnapped son.

This was such a heart-pounding, on the edge of your seat thrilling and definite bone-chilling movie! Halle Berry tapped into what every mother would do if not go further if her child was abducted.

I really felt scared for her character & the kid who played her son. This film was so real-Halle and Sage (mother & son) really made me feel as if I was watching them in the present day trying to find their way back to one another.

I had the opportunity to see the film a month early in New Orleans where I live and she had a live question & answer period and was doing a rapid meet and greet before we got a chance to see the film.

She was very sweet and humble to us all- I must say; that is Halle- a total sweetheart!! But in the film- she is a lethal mother 'shut ur mouth! Lol!

I know that this film has been seen most likely on the fire stick or online in some form or fashion- but if you have …

"The Dark Tower" → The "Pure" White Outweighs The "Evil" Black

Image
Film Synopsis: The Gunslinger, (Idris Elba) Roland Deschain roams an old West-like landscape where "the world has moved on" in pursuit of the Man in Black (MatthewMcConaughey). Also searching for the fabled Dark Tower, in the hopes that reaching it will preserve his dying world.

The message that this film portrays is really very simple to me. It was all about what the world is full of: the good versus the evil. This was a film, that I MUST admit, I was very hesitant about seeing even though it had two well-known actors in it.

I was still skeptical even when the film began, but after 5 minutes in, I was totally drawn in and never wanted it to end. I have to praise McConaughey's stellar performance. He played a very cool and collective dark force. He never let his anger or emotions showed when he was dissatisfied with something or someone.

That is what was impressive about him portraying sch a evil character. He was a natural! No joke! A natural born evil leader. He did it …
