"Flatliners" → A Heart-Pounding Stopper

Film Synopsis: Twenty-eight years after Nelson Wright survived his ordeal of experimenting on near-death experiences, a young group of medical students attempt the same procedure through the help of aspiring doctor & theorist, Courtney Holmes (Ellen Page). But once they take turns flat lining in order to see these visions, dark secrets & side effects of the past come along to haunt them!

You haven't lived until you've died! What a magnificent punchline for this movie! It is dead on the head accurate! When the movie first began, I felt like it was simply a drama- but as it progressed it turned more into a scary movie.

Classifying this as a horror seems to be a little too much over the top to describe the last 45 minutes of the film 'aka' the medical students experiencing the blackouts & troubling imagery that they were seeing as a result of in fact- flat lining themselves.

This film got terrible reviews, but I have to say I rather enjoyed the film. I saw it i…

"Kingsman 2: The Golden Circle" → Glittering Golden In Deed!

Film Synopsis: When their headquarters are destroyed & the world is held hostage, the Kingman's journey leads them to the discovery of an allied spy organization in the US. These two elite secret organizations must band together to defeat a common enemy.

I HAVE to state the VERY OBVIOUS FIRST: This was better...I DO MEAN WAY BETTER than the first Kingsman film! I don't know if it was because of so many more brilliant cast-members, the story-line, etc.

I do not even care, but I enjoyed- very thoroughly enjoyed this film. I did not mind it being 2 hours and 21 minutes long.

I was a bit worried in seeing it because of how I did not like the first one as much. I mean, I liked it, but this sequel, I LOVED! I got to see it in the Dolby Theater which was amazingly flawless like the film. Julianne Moore's role in the film is what made the film more enjoyable.

She made one hell of a Devil in a Red Prada Poppy Dress! Taron was wonderful as Eggsy! The introduction of Channing Tatum …

"American Assassin" → Rapp Ruptures!

Film Synopsis: A film centered on counter-terrorism agent, Mitch Rapp (Dylan O'Brien).

O'Brien really outdid himself in his role in the film. I was highly impressed with his characters very unique set of skills- but there was one skill that could not master and that is the one skill that people in the world today are perplexed with and strive to overcome every single day.

It is such a tedious and trying task- to not make everything personal & not to let personal feelings cloud your judgment.

This was the lesson that Hurley was trying to get Rapp to see. Because of what happened in the beginning of the film- that is what molded him into the person he did not want to become.

Stan forced Mitch to take a step back and look at the bigger picture. He could not let emotion could his judgment and decisions.

This was an action packed movie with a few twists and turns. I would say it was along the styles of JohnWick and The Accountant. I was tad bit hesitant in seeing it from the mome…

"Home Again" → Home Not So Enjoyable...

Film Synopsis: Life for a single mom (Reese Witherspoon) in Los Angeles takes an unexpected turn when she allows three young guys to move in with her.

I wasn't really that thrilled to see this movie, but didn't have very high expectations for it. I do enjoy watching romantic comedies, but like all movies- some are good & some are not.

This one was in the cusp of average/in the middle. There was a good plot and story line associated with it. The movie was pretty average. The only well-named stars in it was Reese Witherspoon and Candance Bergen. Maybe that was why it was not that good.

I'm not completely sure what the factor(s) is. I can't really go on any further to talk about the movie because it was really very low average and wasn't that impressed by it.

It may be getting rave reviews on Rotten Tomatoes and maybe called fresh and this year's most beloved rom com, but I totally disagree.

I can see the attraction for the movie. I loved certain funny parts of …

"IT" → Pennywise Does It Again! And Again!

Film Synopsis: In Derry, Maine, seven friends come face-to-face with a shape shifter, who takes the form of an evil clown who targets children.

This was a combination, I felt of Child's Play mixed with The Sandlot. Lol! I am being for real! I thoroughly enjoyed the film. The entire 2 hours and 15 minutes of it!

It was more on the slightly scary & humorous side than the all-in 100% horror film such as Child's Play, Black Christmas, Nightmare on Elm Street, etc.

This film had humor and if it wasn't form Pennywise- it certainly was form the little actor who portrayed the role of Richie. That actor really had me laughing all sorts of ways. He is the reason why I called the film like  the classic comedy, "The Sandlot."

He was always saying or doing things that was funny and any film that brings a sense of comedy into the mix is a definite plus in my book! The movie was centered around a group of kids whom had to face their fears at such a young age similar to anoth…
