"The Conjuring III: The Devil Made Me Do It" - Review

A masterpiece! Epic! Brilliant! Worth waiting a year for! These films are what I live for! I hope they keep making these movies and never stop! I have always believed in the Devil - not because of the Bible; or how I was raised or brought up; Ed or Lorriane Warren; etc. 

I STRONGLY believe in it because of one word - society. There is also something that Vera Farmiga's character as her portrayer as Lorraine says in one of the Annabelle films, "of all the evil that is in here (referring to their collection that they keep in their home), it reminds her of all the good that is out there (out there as in the world). 

Which comes back to my point - SOCIETY. The world can be what WE chose to make of it. To make it full of of good - or to make it full of evil. This film, to me, in my candid opinion was not like the previous two films. I felt as if this was a reunion-type/reminiscing film centered around Ed and Lorraine and their love, bond, & the very strong unbreakable bond that the two of them share. 

The actors Patrick Wilson & Vera Farmiga portray Ed & Lorraine Warren so perfectly that you would think that they are married in real life. They have on screen magic, chemistry, and flare in EVERY Conjuring Universe film that they are in. They are in sync EVERY SINGLE TIME & I love that! Vera Farmiga's facial expressions are FREAKING ON POINT! She's an amazing ass and very much talented actress!

Sure, they solved the case of Arne and it is revealed what his fate is with the jury. I was really expecting to see a trial happen during the movie, but that did not happen. The entire movie was about proving his innocence and that he was in deed possessed by a demonic force as the trailer for the movie described. 

I just have to go back and spend a few more moments on how strong the love is between Ed and Lorraine in this particular film. There are two phrases that Lorraine says in the move that sticks with me and hopefully...they stick with you as well: First: "I could be @ home, but my home is wherever Ed is." That is simply profound and is something that you just do not hear every day! That is commitment.

 That is undying love. That is amazing. That is profound. Second: "Love is not a weakness." You see the Devil thinks that showing love and compassion is a sign of weakness, but that could not be more wrong! That is a strength and that comes directly from God Himself! Love. Love one another. 

This film teaches so many lessons. It teaches love, how to love, how to fight, how to forgive, how to open your mind and heart to new ways of thinking, and so much more! It really makes you see why the Devil exists and why he wants to create havoc and mischief - but we must not let him do that. We must be God's children & prevail like Ed and Lorraine fight to save souls; so must we!!!
