Travis' Grade Of: [B+]Would I recommend YOU to pay to see this in the theater? YEA, MAN!!
My Critique On "Birds of Prey: and the Fabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn" is this - this was one of MANY of 2020's most highly anticipated movies to see.....
Film Synopsis: After splitting up with The Joker, Harley Quinn (played by Margot Robbie) joins superheroes Black Canary (played Jurnee Smollett-Bell), The Huntress (played Mary Elizabeth-Winstead), & Renee Montoya (played by Rosie Perez) to save a young girl from an evil crime lord!
Classification of Film: Adventure, Action, & Comedy
....and I felt that it could have been better. Just a tad. It was great - but it had the potential to be what Harley Quinn was known for and that is explosive! The film could have been more dynamic!
Even thought this is a comic movie.....there was a lesson; a very VITAL and crucial lesson to be learned...and that lesson is that @ times you must re-invent yourself and not latch on to other people for your confidence and self-worth.
That is the lesson that Harley had to teach herself. While she was dating and with The Joker she was always protected & never harmed because of HIS name and HIS reputation.
She never had to stand alone and survive on her own until now and she had to find a way
to make people see her for her WITHOUT The Joker. I saw the film in Dolby and it was magnificent! Simply magnificent! The film is both illumining & dynamic! It really comes to life when you watch it in IMAX or Dolby.
It was just astonishing! Production really did a great job! Terrific! There was never a dull moment in the film. It was funny, it was action-packed & it was BOOM! YOU will NOT be disappointed if you choose to see it. It is worth it and you will have a ball because Harley is not dull - she keeps things moving and interesting!
THIS MOVIE IS 100% WORTH SEEING!!!
