"The War With Grandpa" Is Mildly Entertaining!

Would I recommend YOU to pay to see this in the theater? HMM...THIS IS NOT SUCH A TOUGH QUESTION. I WANT TO SAY NO - BUT THEN AGAIN, I WANT TO SAY YES, BUT IF YOU LOVE DENIRO AND WANT TO LAUGH, YES, BUT IT IS PRETTY AVERAGE AND MEDICORE!

My Critique On "The War with Grandpa" is this - it's not a blockbuster considering the pandemic, but it is a movie that provides laughter and a sort of......

Film Synopsis: Upset that he has to share the room he loves with his grandfather (played by Robert DeNiro), Peter (played by Oakes Fegley) decides to declare war in an attempt to get it back!

............temporary relief of what is going on in the world today. It can provide a temporary escape of the negativity that everyone is facing with the upcoming elections and financial struggles and such that so many Americans are struggling with and speaking from experience, I know that it is hard to wonder if you will ever get back on your feet after what 2020 has brought us, but I try to find positivity and light in the situations amidst all the chaos and darkness that surrounds me and us as a nation. Getting back to the movie.

It was not a bad movie, but it was not a fantastic movie either. I will say that it was okay. I did feel like I was watching Dennis the Menace when the Grandpa and the Grandson were "going to war" on each other, though. One very important fundamental aspect of the film was that DeNiro was right in what he was trying to teach his grandson and that was that when you declare war on someone, people will get hurt in some form, shape, or fashion and that is always guaranteed!

Be sure you know what you are embarking upon when you declare war or payback on someone, because war and payback is real and so are the consequences of it. What was funny to me was how the adults acted more like kids than the actual kids in the movie! Lol!

Sure, this may have been a comedy film, but the most true and valuable lesson was that war causes pain. In conclusion, this was a good and funny 'lil movie - good for kids and adults to watch together. Very sweet!

THIS MOVIE IS OKAY TO SEE - I WOULD NOT RUSH OUT TO SEE IT. IT IS A CALM AND CHILL AT HOME KIND OF A FILM!
