"The Hitman's Bodyguard" → TBA

Film Synopsis: The world's top bodyguard (Ryan Reynolds) get a new client, a hit man (Samuel L. Jackson) who must testify at the International Court of Justice. They must put their differences aside & work together to make it to the trail on time!

"Annabelle: Creation" → An Insane Bee!

Film Synopsis: Several years after the tragic death of their little girl, a doll-maker (Anthony LaPaglia) & his wife welcome a nun and girls from a shuttered orphanage into their home, soon becoming the target of the doll-maker's most possessed creation- Annabelle.

It is really great to see how all of the evils are making their own mark in the world based off The Conjuring's handy work.

At first, I din't know what to expect although horror films nowadays are not really that scary to me, but fact still remains no matter if a horror film is a bust or not- it is always the person whom is the weakest that is attacked by the evil!

In the Bible, it tells us that God did not give us fear, but strength & that is something I think deeply on in every horror film when the actor portraying the "weak person" claims they are weak or the person/object trying to help them see that they are strong just gives up and faces the reality that the dark spirit/demon 'aka'…

"Kidnap" → A Riveting Retrieval

Film Synopsis: A mother (Halle Berry) will stop at nothing to recover her kidnapped son.

This was such a heart-pounding, on the edge of your seat thrilling and definite bone-chilling movie! Halle Berry tapped into what every mother would do if not go further if her child was abducted.

I really felt scared for her character & the kid who played her son. This film was so real-Halle and Sage (mother & son) really made me feel as if I was watching them in the present day trying to find their way back to one another.

I had the opportunity to see the film a month early in New Orleans where I live and she had a live question & answer period and was doing a rapid meet and greet before we got a chance to see the film.

She was very sweet and humble to us all- I must say; that is Halle- a total sweetheart!! But in the film- she is a lethal mother 'shut ur mouth! Lol!

I know that this film has been seen most likely on the fire stick or online in some form or fashion- but if you have …

"The Dark Tower" → The "Pure" White Outweighs The "Evil" Black

Film Synopsis: The Gunslinger, (Idris Elba) Roland Deschain roams an old West-like landscape where "the world has moved on" in pursuit of the Man in Black (MatthewMcConaughey). Also searching for the fabled Dark Tower, in the hopes that reaching it will preserve his dying world.

The message that this film portrays is really very simple to me. It was all about what the world is full of: the good versus the evil. This was a film, that I MUST admit, I was very hesitant about seeing even though it had two well-known actors in it.

I was still skeptical even when the film began, but after 5 minutes in, I was totally drawn in and never wanted it to end. I have to praise McConaughey's stellar performance. He played a very cool and collective dark force. He never let his anger or emotions showed when he was dissatisfied with something or someone.

That is what was impressive about him portraying sch a evil character. He was a natural! No joke! A natural born evil leader. He did it …

"Atomic Blonde" → 007 Fantasitc Femme Fetale!

Film Synopsis: An undercover MI6 agent (Charlize Theron) is sent to Berlin during the Cold War to investigate the murder of a fellow agent & recover a missing list of double agents....

Quite the film! This movie should have been called the "Explosive Blonde" because Theron was killer dynamite and explosive in the film! I am still reeling at the terrific job that she did in the film!

Theron is such a wonderful actress, in my candid opinion! To see her play a role as equivalent to James bond was very- enlightening.

I say that because Hollywood has projected the image that men are the tough kick-ass people who do the macho killing and tracking "the bad guys"down & taking what is theirs away from them. You do not see films like this too often, if ever.

Sofia & Charlize had chemistry and I am not referring to their sex scenes, I am referring to the magic that generated off of them on camera. I could see it and feel their bond and it was HIGHLY believable.

"Girls Trip" → A Succulent Grapefruit Adventure!

Film Synopsis: The story of four life long friends: Ryan (Regina Hall), Sasha (QueenLatifah), Dina (Tiffany Haddish), & Lisa (Jada Pinkett-Smith) who travel to New Orleans for the annual Essence Music Festival where sisterhoods are re-kindled & wild sides are rediscovered!

Where do I even begin? Granted, this was a very raunchy & explicit film that was die-hard hilarious, there was some truth and realism associated with it.

I and you, if you have seen it or will see it CANNOT deny that. The real message that was relayed was what the character of Ryan said in her speech at the close of the film & that is to be real with not only yourself, but to the world: SPEAK...YOUR...TRUTH

Be YOU! Do not put on fronts and pretend to be something that you aren't just to suffice and to make someone else happy while you are miserable. It doesn't work & that is a fact! Don't give someone that power over you! Now that the important portion of my rating is out of the way-…

"Wish Upon" → Wishes Successfully Granted!

Film Synopsis: A teenage girl (Joey King) discovers a box that carries magical powers & a very deadly price for using them.

I had been eagerly awaiting the arrival for this film ever since I heard and read about it.

I am a huge fan of horror films. Always have been- but there was some thing that piqued my interest with one. It wasn't like the REGULAR EVERYDAY normal films. There was a little mystery with it.

Not like make 7 wishes and then you die. It took it a step further. Claire, basically was a high school kid that got bullied and she fought back by finding her own power within herself to stand up to others, but then when the box came to her (courtesy of someone- nottelling whom) she succumbed to its magical charms- wanting more & more of its power.

She was NOT fulling paying attention of its supernatural repercussions to her wishes. She let what the box was giving her cloud her judgement and the type of person that she was.

It took her two best friends and especially he…
